Frequency with which the current velocity lies below velocity limits within the period of data analysis.
Frequency [0.0,1.0] for which the current velocity ''underflows'' a given velocity threshold within the [[period of data analysis]].
 
* left top: result for threshold 0.1 m/s.
* left top: value of the parameter for the 1st class [limit velocity: 0.1 m/s].
* right top: result for threshold 0.5 m/s.
* right top: value of the parameter for the 3rd class [limit velocity: 0.5 m/s].
* left bottom: result for threshold 0.9 m/s.  
* left bottom: value of the parameter for the 5th class [limit velocity: 0.9 m/s].  
* right bottom: result for threshold 1.3 m/s.
* right bottom: value of the parameter for the 7th class [limit velocity: 1.3 m/s].  
Please notice that frequency cannot reach a value of 1.0 in temporarily dry areas (e.g. tidal flats).

Explanations

Frequency [0.0,1.0] for which the current velocity underflows a given velocity threshold within the period of data analysis.

  • left top: result for threshold 0.1 m/s.
  • right top: result for threshold 0.5 m/s.
  • left bottom: result for threshold 0.9 m/s.
  • right bottom: result for threshold 1.3 m/s.

Please notice that frequency cannot reach a value of 1.0 in temporarily dry areas (e.g. tidal flats).
