Short Description of Functionality
The program DATA2GEOM converts the results of the BSH-prediction model in geom files. Each generated geom file contains a parameter, for one time, for one dept range, and for all positions. The program data2geom reads ASCII files, which are issued in the form of a matrix according to the square-based grid of the BSH. The files to be read are specified in the data2geom.dat. Several files can be processed simultaneously. The position information (WGS 84) in the BSH file header is used to write a gitter05.dat file according to the underlying BSH grid. Both the grid, as well as the geom files can be displayed with JANET.
Input-Files
- general input data (Dateityp data2geom.dat)
- BSH model results in matrix-based ASCII form (BSH prediction model)
Output-Files
- Position files of type geom.dat
- Grid file of type gitter05.dat
Methodology
The grid file is generated using the methods in software package H_GRID.
