Definition

The migratory corridor at a transverse structure is a reach of the waterway which is not interrupted by obstructions and which fish are able to find and pass through. It extends over the entire water column, from the bottom to the water surface, and connects the tailwater and headwater of a migration obstacle. In the migratory corridor all geometric and hydraulic limits at discharges ranging from Q30 to Q330 are respected.
