Definition
Section of a watercourse with an artificial river bed whose design flood / upper operating water level is higher than the surrounding terrain, one that is limited on one or both sides by constantly / not constantly loaded water dams; Section of a navigation canal, an impounded river or a lock canal, whose water level is higher than the surrounding terrain.
