Significance of the File

contains specific input data related to the physical subsystem Suspended Sediment Transport of program UNTRIM.

File-Contents (in Catchwords)

  1. type of sub-model chosen to compute e.g. erosion flux of sediments and make a balance of the sediment fluxes at the bottom:
    1. "No_Suspendedload_Model"if no sub-model shall be applied in the course of an UNTRIM simulation;
    2. "SediMorph_Model" if the morphodynamic module SediMorph shall be used:
      • Key "Steering_File" with input data for the software package SediMorph (filetype sedimorph.dat).
      • (optional) Key "Morphological_Speedup_Factor" for acceleration of the morphological evolution; default = 1.0 (no acceleration).

Notice: dictionary-file sus_untrim_dico.dat, normally present in directory $PROGHOME/dic/, will be automatically read by the application program in addition to the user-specified input file.
