Significance of the File
the files of filetype tr2.result do contain different computational results from the mathematical model TRIM-2D
File-Contents (in Catchwords)
The convention for the names of the different output files is identical for all result files of TRIM-2D: name = TT_MM_JJ_hh_mm_ss_extension
In this string TT is the day, MM indicates the month, JJ the year, hh the hour, mm the minute and ss the second for which the results are stored in the file. The extension at the end of the filename depends on the contents of the file. The following extensions are realized at the moment:
- _H = hydrodynamic results: water level elevation and depth-integrated current velocity
- _S = results for salinity: depth integrated salinity
- _C = results for suspended sediment: depth integrated suspended sediment concentration
- _B = deposited suspended sediments: deposited suspended sediment mass at the bottom
- _L = bed load results: bed load transport rate and deposited bed load material mass
- _A = optional results: wind shear stress, bottom shear stress, ...
The files do contain the results for all computational points of a TRIM-grid.
