Basic Information

File-Type

didamintq.cfg

File-Form

FORMATTED

Version

3.x / October 2009

Description-Date

October 2009

Significance of the File

contains special configuration data for the program DIDAMINTQ

File-Contents (in Catchwords)

  • NEWSET, opens a new block with all relevant informations for conversion of physical quantities:
    • Input-Groessen, number and list of input quantities.
    • Output-Groessen, number and list of output quantities.
    • Output-Operatoren, list of operators for all output quantities. The following operators are defined:
      • mean value computation:
        • A-HM : mean value without depth weighting (one input quantity), e. g. for computation of mean water level.
        • A-HVM : mean value with depth weighting (one input quantity), e. g. for computation of mean current velocity.
        • B-HVM : mean value with depth weighthing (two input quantities), not used at the moment.
      • integral value computation:
        • A-HI : integration without depth weighting (one input quantity), e. g. for computation of integral bed load transport.
        • A-HVI : integration with depth weighting (one input quantity), e. g. for computation of flow from current velocity.
        • B-HVI : integration with depth weighting (two input quantities), e. g. for computation of integral salt transport from current velocity and salinity.
      • other operators:
        • AREA : compute cross sectional area.
        • WETP : compute wetted perimeter.
        • HYDR : compute hydraulic radius.
        • MAXI : compute maximum value.

Remarks:

  • An arbitrary number of NEWSET blocks can be prescribed.
  • Read of NEWSET blocks can be terminated through single ENDDATA statement.
  • All code numbers for physical quantities used must be properly defined in configuration files of type $PROGHOME/cfg/phydef.cfg.*.dat.

  • ENDFILE, terminates input from configuration file.
