Significance of the File
The file contains configuration data for the program METDIDA. It defines the relation between meteorological input and output quantities and a scaling factor for the input quantities. The configuration is normally generated by using the file in the standard directory of configuration files. If however a configuration file exists in the local working directory, the configuration is generated out of it.
File-Contents (in Catchwords)
- in each configuration line declarations are given as follows:
- code of a meteorological input quantity (scalar)
- code of a meteorological output quantity (scalar or vector)
- dimension of this input quantity in the output quantity
- terminate the list with the keyword ENDDATA
