Definition
Inland waters as a federal waterway, delimted against the coastal waters by law through the "seaward boundary". The federal inland waterways differ in those "who serve the general transport", as laid down in Appendix 1 to § 1 para. 1 no. 1 WaStrG are listed, and those that are not listed in Annex 1 to the WaStrG, but in its own directory as "other federal inland waterways".
