Fire which is shown all over the horizon or in specified sectors or directions. Depending on their purpose beacons have a designation such as: leading light, orientation light, cross light, leading light, sea beacon, shore fire.; System that transmits a fire that is shown all over the horizon or in specified sectors or directions, and generally serves as a body mark by day.
