Definition
Section of the tidal Elbe between flow km 607,50 (Oortkaten/Ortkathen) and 633,035 of the left shore (Finkenwerder) or 638,98 right shore (Tinsdal) [Norderelbe, port area], of which the federal government has transferred (delegated) the maintenance of the federal waterway Elbe and operation of federally owned shipping facilities to the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
