Short Description of Functionality

The program BFABSENK computes the changes of bathymetry for the areas between groynes, if the changes of height of the groynes are known.

Input-Files

  1. General input file (filetype bfabsenk.dat)
  2. River chainage file (filetype fd2bagger.flusskm)
  3. River chainage related highwater file (filetype kmattr.dat)
  4. River chainage related lowwater file (filetype kmattr.dat)
  5. River chainage related target depths file (filetype kmattr.dat)
  6. Groynes file describing the original state of all groynes (filetype groynes.dat)
  7. Position coordinates and depth values file(s) of all groynes representing the original state (filetype insel.dat)
  8. Groynes file describing the newer state of all groynes (filetype groynes.dat)
  9. Position coordinates and depth values file(s) of all groynes representing the newer state (filetype insel.dat)

Output-Files

  1. Groynes and groyne areas boundary lines file (filetype insel.dat)
  2. Groyne areas changes of depth Unigrid grid file (filetype unigrid.dat/bin)
  3. Groyne areas changes of depth grid file of the Numerical Model Fidisor/Fidirb (filetype topo.bin)

Methodology

You will find a detailed description of how the program computes the changes of height inside the groyne areas in this pdf-document
