Definition
Cross-section of a canal which runs either in a cut, or between dams. Section of a watercourse with artificial water-bed whose design flood / upper operating water level is lower than the surrounding terrain / equal to the surrounding terrain, and is therefore not limited by loaded water dams -except by boat waves.
