Definition
Plant to accomodate ships or floating devices for their construction or maintenance in the dry. Embodiments: drydock: chambered, solid structure lockable against the water. Floating: trough-like floating vessel open at the end, can be lowered or lifted by filling or emptying the ballast chambers.
