The program TTpegel is able to plot and analyse tidal high or low water level time series of different gauging stations. Analysis means correlation between different gauging stations and frequency distribution (histogram). The data come from a file of type [[PEGELALL.DAT|pegelall.dat]].&lt;br /&gt;

After reading a file of type [[PEGELALL.DAT|pegelall.dat]] with tidal high and low water levels and times of occurrence at different gauging stations the program is able to do the following:&lt;br /&gt;
* display of time series for the active and reference gauging station&lt;br /&gt;
* display of correlation between active over reference gauging station&lt;br /&gt;
* display of frequency distribution (histogram) for the active gauging station&lt;br /&gt;
At the beginning of the program time series will be displayed. The user can change the function of display interactively via GUI.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The user has several choices:&lt;br /&gt;
* change the active gauging station&lt;br /&gt;
* change the reference gauging station&lt;br /&gt;
* change between tidal high or low water&lt;br /&gt;
* narrow down the time axis to a desired time frame&lt;br /&gt;
* narrow down the times of occurrence to a specific set of days inside the time frame&lt;br /&gt;
* narrow down the times of occurrence to a specific set of months inside the time frame&lt;br /&gt;
* display or hide a legend&lt;br /&gt;
* display or hide a linear regression (time series or correlation only)&lt;br /&gt;
* display or hide a normal distribution function (histogram only)&lt;br /&gt;
