Damit können für rechteckige Gebiete, auch Teilgebiete oder Kacheln genannt, Ausschnitte aus der gesamten Modelltopographie (Bathymetrie) herausgeschnitten werden. Außerdem ist es möglich, aus den für das Gesamtgebiet vorliegenden Berechnungsergebnissen die in dem Teilgebiet liegenden Daten auszulesen und in eine neue Datei zu schreiben, welche dann nur noch die Berechnungsergebnisse des Teilgebietes enthält. Optional ist das Löschen der Berechnungsergebnisse des Gesamtgebietes möglich.<br /> <br /> Die Reduktion der Datenmenge mit Hilfe des Programmes TR2KACHEL ist hilfreich für die spätere graphische Darstellung oder Analyse der Berechnungsergebnisse.<br /> <br /> Es können gleichzeitig mehrere Teilgebiete bearbeitet werden.<br /> <br /> Bitte das Shell-Script [[TRIMKACH]] beachten, das allgemeine Eingabedaten generiert und TR2KACHEL startet, wenn es eine Ergebnisdatei findet.
