Explanations

Frequency [0.0,1.0] for which the salinity underflows a given salinity limit within the period of data analysis.

  • left top: result for threshold 3.75 x 10-3.
  • right top: result for threshold 11.25 x 10-3.
  • left bottom: result threshold 18.75 x 10-3.
  • right bottom: result for threshold 26.25 x 10-3.

Please notice that frequency cannot reach a value of 1.0 in temporarily dry areas (e.g. tidal flats).

frequency with which the salinity lies below the salinity limit of 3.75 E-3
