Significance of the File

the files of filetype tr3.result do contain different computational results from the mathematical model TRIM-3D

File-Contents (in Catchwords)

The convention for the names of the different output files is identical for all result files of TRIM-3D : name = DD_MM_YYYY_hh_mm_ss_nnnnnnnnn_extension

In this string DD is the day, MM indicates the month, YYYY the year, hh the hour, mm the minute ss the second and nnnnnnnnn the nanosecond for which the results are stored in the file. The extension at the end of the filename depends on the contents of the file. The following extensions are realized at the moment:

  1. _H = hydrodynamic results :
    • water level
    • current velocity
    • bottom shear stress
    • hydrodynamic pressure (optional)
    • eddy viscosity (optional)
    • wind velocity (optional)
    • wind shear stress (optional)
    • atmospheric pressure (optional)
    • density (optional)
  1. _S = results for salinity :
    • salinity
    • eddy diffusivity (optional)

The files do contain the results for all computational points of a TRIM-grid.
